FIAC confirms its leading position in contemporary art

The 40th edition of the FIAC offers us a glimpse of a contemporary art fair with an excellent level showing a selection of artworks of great quality. Inside the Grand Palais in Paris, the FIAC is the annual art event where contemporary art lovers run to. This year, besides the big names of the contemporary art scene including Anish Kapoor, Yue Minjun, Jan Fabre or Chiharu Shiota, emerging artists offered us an intense moment with strong message works.

Here is the selection of works I loved:

Guillaume Bresson, Untitled, 2012-2013

Jonathan Meese, Herbst, 2013

Derren Almond, Second Thoughts, 2013

Magnus Plessen, Untitled, 2012

Alain Bublex, Plan Voisin de Paris - V2, 2013

Yue Minjun, The Tao Laughter N°01, 2012

Yan Pei-Ming, Faucon de Barbarie, 2013

Fabienne Verdier

Barry Flanagan

Willem de Kooning
