What You must know: Collaboration between artists and footballers for Action for Brazil’s Children Trust

Signed by Brazilian footballers and transformed into artworks by British contemporary artists, 11 balls have been exhibited at Selfridges on Oxford Street on the occasion of the World Cup 2014. The10th of July, these footballs will be auctioned at Embassy of Brazil and the funds will be allocated to Action for Brazil’s Children Trust (ABC Trust), a NGO in the UK that helps children and young people in need who live in Brazil.

Artists who took part in this project : Inkie, Pakpoom Silaphan, Richie Culver, Tolleck Winner, Cibelle, Rob & Nick Carter, Pure Evil, Nasser Azam, Patrick Hughes, Jimmy Galvin and STATIC

What you must see: Michelangelo Pistoletto, The Third Paradise @ European Council


From July, Michelangelo Pistoletto exhibits his famous installation ‘The Third Paradise’ in the hall of the European Council. This colorful installation represents the reconciliation between nature and artifice. According to Michelangelo Pistoletto, “The Third Paradise is the passage to a new level of planetary civilization, essential to ensure the human race's survival[1]”. This installation will be visible until 31st December 2014.
